Camp instructors, avid gamers themselves, will guide campers through instruction of gaming mechanics and gameplay. Tom Herring, Upper School History

Tom grew up in Warner Robins, Ga. (WRHS '83). He earned a bachelor's degree from UT-Chattanooga and a master's degree from The Citadel. In addition to his teaching duties, he is an assistant coach for varsity wrestling and the school sponsor for McCallie's Leo Club. As for video gaming, Tom began gaming during the rise of Atari and Nintendo during the 1980's. Later, he beta-tested for several video gaming publishers, like MacSoft and Virtual Programming, Ltd., and porting houses, like Westlake Interactive. He also worked as the site editor for MacGamer.com, publishing industry game news and video game reviews. He and his wife Beth have two sons, Brock '17 (Lehigh '21) and Ian '20 (MTSU '24).

There is a non-refundable $25 deposit to register for all Day Camps.
