Football Camp

Football Camp is designed for campers to have fun, learn football fundamentals, and learn to be a good team players. Skill development will include how to pass, catch, kick, and run with the football, proper techniques of blocking and tackling, and the basics of good conditioning. Campers participate in flag football, punt-pass-kick competitions, and other football-related games–all non-padded, lower impact games. McCallie Head Football Coach Joel Bradford leads this camp assisted by varsity coaches and current players. Campers leave with confidence in himself as he enters the season.

Camp Information 

Boys; Ages 6-14

  • Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Cost: $275 per session 
    • Early Bird Price $250 - Sign up before March 1st
  • Levels: All Levels (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced)

Refund/Cancellation Policy

McCallie Day Camps require a non-refundable $25 registration fee. On March 1, the balance of camp fees will be charged to credit card on file. After March 1, camp fees must be paid in full when registering. No refunds are available after June 1 except for documented medical reasons.

About the Director: Joel Bradford

Joel Bradford ‘07 was named McCalle football program head coach in 2023. He previously served as offensive coordinator from 2019 through the 2023 season. During that time, the Blue Tornado enjoyed unparalleled success, winning TSSAA Division II-AAA state titles in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023. In addition to coaching football, Joel works in Admission. In previous years, he taught Bible and physical education in the middle school and coached soccer, basketball, and middle school golf. Joel earned a BS in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2011. He was an All-American wide receiver for the Mocs and a two-time All-Southern Conference selection. He earned his MA in Christian Ministry from Liberty University in 2017. Joel and his wife Courtney have a son, Deklan, and a daughter, Loxton.
