Tennis
McCallie Tennis Camp provides campers a week of tennis fun and learning. Players of all abilities will improve their skills and gain confidence. Campers can choose to attend one session or all summer.Technique, strategy, and conditioning will be covered. All sessions are divided according to skill level and age. In the full day Tennis Camp a nutritious lunch, a camp T-shirt, early drop-off, an after-camp swim in the McCallie “Lake” from 3-4 PM, and secondary insurance coverage are included at no extra cost. Half-day sessions are also available.
Thanks to donations from McCallie Parents and Alumni, the Strang Voges Tennis Center has recently installed The SmartCourt system which is at the cutting edge of tennis instruction. This system allows players to view their strokes and statistics, providing immediate feedback. The SmartCourt system uses a series of nine cameras and PlaySight software to track, tag, and record all player and ball movement.
