McCallie Sports Camp

McCallie Sports Camp is a high-energy, adventure-filled boarding camp for boys ages 9-14. Recognized as one of the premier sports camps in the Southeast, it offers an array of athletic activities, exciting excursions, and memorable group experiences. Campers compete in a wide variety of sports–we keep score! The focus is always on fun, sportsmanship, and learning and sharpening skills along the way. Our goal is for every boy to leave camp with a sense of accomplishment, greater independence, and lifelong memories made with old and new friends.

Camp Details & Pricing

Grades: Rising 3rd-9th; Boys
Cost: $4100
Register with a $250 deposit. The balance is due March 1st.

Check-In & Drop-Off Procedures

Check-in is on Monday

To ensure a smooth and organized arrival, please follow the required drop-off times by age group:

REQUIRED Drop-off Times (By Age)

10:00 am - 10:30 am (9-10 years)
11:00 am - 11:30 am (11-12 years)
12:00 pm - 12:30 pm (13-14 years)

Note: If you have siblings, are carpooling, or flying in, you may check in at the assigned time for the youngest camper in your group. We kindly ask all families to stick as closely as possible to these time slots.

Directions

Enter the campus, park near the McCallie “Lake”.

Check-In

Upon arrival, leave the luggage in the car an denter the Sports and Activities Center Rotunda with the following:

Medications (in original packaging)
Pre-paid gift card for the Atlanta Braves Game (suggested amount: $100)
Optional: Camp Mom Gift Bag, if ordered ($80 cash)
Reminder: No electronics are allowed at camp, including cell phones.

ALL CAMPERS and PARENTS MUST COMPLETE three check-in stations: Counselors, Gift Card/Camp Mom, Nurse.

Move-In

Once check-in is complete:

Campers will then join the counselors and other campers to begin their fun-filled time at camp!
Parents, proceed to the dorms to drop off luggage. Our staff will be on hand to greet you, direct you to the correct dorm, and assist with unloading and setting up your camper's room. Please remain in your vehicle. We'll take care of the rest!

Saturday | Final Day Celebration

Celebration: Please join your campers for a fun Award Ceremony in the McCallie Chapel from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Lunch: After the ceremony, you are invited to the McCallie dining hall for a luncheon with campers, counselors, and fellow family and friends.

Pick-Up: You may pick up your camper's luggage before the ceremony between 8:45 am and 9:30 am or after the ceremony and/or lunch at your convenience.

Teams

Campers in each session are placed in leagues by age with 4 teams in each league. Boys are placed on teams based on their age, roommate request, athletic ability, and other criteria including height and weight derived from the camper’s completed application. All boys play all sports with their team. Unfortunately we are not able to accept team requests. We do ask for roommate requests. Parents must request the same request to guarantee roommates.

Facilities

McCallie School grounds include numerous groomed fields, the McCallie Lake, the outdoor track, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, football stadium, and a new indoor golf facility. McCallie has air-conditioned dorms, a beautiful dining hall with numerous food stations including hamburgers, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, entrees, salad options and desserts. The Dining Hall is also set up to handle all food allergies and provides gluten-free options. The award winning 180,000 square-foot Sports and Activities Center (SAC) is the Sports Camp center of operation. The SAC contains an 11-lane indoor pool, six basketball courts, a 200-meter indoor track, racquetball court, climbing wall, weight room, and activity center with pool tables, table tennis, gameroom and air hockey.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

On March 1st fees must be paid in full. Your card will auto-charge on March 1st for your balance or you can make ongoing payments in your online account at any time before March 1st.

Cancellations: Before Jan. 1st: Refund of your deposit minus a $50 processing fee. Jan. 1st - March 1st full refund minus the $250 non-refundable deposit. After March 1st, NO REFUNDS except for documented medical reasons.
