2021 COVID Info TBA, below is last summer's 2020 COVID Info
2020 For this summer we have included a COVID-19 pre-screening form and a hold McCallie harmless waiver that parents must sign. Please bring this completed form with you to camp on opening day.
Update as of June 9, 2020:
In compliance with the Hamilton County mask mandate, we are requiring masks in the following conditions.
Inside (including open-air enclosures): ALL counselors, staff, AND campers 12 years old and above must wear a mask when indoors.
Outside: ALL counselors, staff, AND campers 12 years old and above must wear a mask outdoors IF, at any point during the activity, they'll be within 6 feet of another person. Many of our outdoor physical activities (e.g. flag football, kickball, soccer, tennis, golf, etc.) bring the campers that close to each other because of the nature of the game. Anyone swimming in the lake/pool is obviously exempt from wearing their mask while they are swimming. For a track meet and/or running on the fields, they don't have to wear one so long as they're not within 6 feet of one another.
We do ask that all campers provide their own masks. We will have a limited number of masks available during morning drop-off for anyone who forgets their mask.
If you are not comfortable with sending your son to camp this summer we offer a full refund. Please contact our office at 423-493-5886 and let us know if you would like to cancel.
Despite all the difficulties and restrictions, we plan to do our best to provide a meaningful summer of friends, growth and activities for the great boys we host at McCallie each summer. Thank you for your cooperation.
